About
Mission
Protocolized is a sci-fi and thinkpiece magazine and research library on protocols — the rules, standards, and agreements that structure coordination at every scale.
The magazine publishes stories, articles, and columns exploring protocols through fiction and critical thinking. The research library hosts papers, talks, templates, and more from the Summer of Protocols program.
History
Protocolized evolved from the Summer of Protocols program, a research initiative that produced foundational work on protocol theory and practice. The archive of that program — including papers, presentations, and research outputs — remains available at summerofprotocols.com .
Protocolized is the ongoing home for this work: a magazine, a growing research library, and a community for everyone working on and with protocols.
Protocol Institute
Protocolized is part of Protocol Institute , the parent organization. Protocol Institute is dedicated to advancing the study and practice of protocols across fields. Protocolized is its public-facing magazine and research library.
